About the Workshop

The 11th Workshop on the Physics and Technology of Semiconductor Lasers is a focused international biennial workshop that brings together scientists, engineers, and industry experts from Poland and abroad. For many years, it has provided a unique platform for in-depth exchange of knowledge, presentation of recent advances in semiconductor laser technology, and the development of close, collaborative interactions in photonics and optoelectronics.

The 2026 edition will take place in Toruń — a historic city on the Vistula River, famed for its well-preserved medieval Old Town and as the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus, providing a vibrant and inspiring setting for scientific exchange.
